My name is Charity Wood, and I am the proud founder of ReveLashons. My journey has been one of resilience, faith, and unwavering dedication. Raised in extreme poverty by addicts, my childhood was a constant struggle. However, with God's love and guidance, I have been able to overcome these challenges and create a better life for my children. I am eternally grateful to God for the blessings He has bestowed upon me.

My family story is one of love and perseverance. I was married for 12 years, where I raised my two biological children and my late ex-husband’s five children as my own. We faced the heartbreaking loss of their father, to cancer, but the love for our children has remained strong. I am now married to my soulmate, and we have been together for 13 wonderful years. My husband brought two more amazing children into my life and raising them has been a true blessing.

My journey into the world of lashing began in January 2012, when I started offering lash services from a room in my home. Initially, I was terrified and lacked self-confidence. However, a good friend and my lash artist at the time, encouraged me to get certified so I could take over her clients when she moved away. With her support, my clientele grew, and I soon found myself fully booked.

After five years of working from home, I decided it was time to take a leap of faith and open my own lash spa. In December 2017, I opened my first spa, which quickly became a success. In November 2022, my spa was ranked #7 of the Top 20 lash salons in the US by Yelp. I sold the spa in December 2022, but my passion for the industry did not end there.

Since 2014, I have been researching and developing my own brand of lash products. Drawing from my lashing experience, feedback from other lash artists, and extensive research, I launched Ascent Beauty (www.ascentbeauty.com ), an e-commerce brand that embodies my decade-long expertise. We sell these products nationwide and proudly use them in our spa.

I am deeply passionate about educating new lash artists and clients on proper lash application, care, and techniques. My goal is to protect the lash industry from the misconception that lash extensions damage natural lashes, which only happens when they are applied improperly due to poor training.

In Arizona, a new law allows anyone to lash with just a certification, bypassing the need for an Esthetics or Cosmetology license. This certification course typically lasts only 1-2 days, but at ReveLashons, we emphasize thorough training. Our staff trains on models for an average of three months before they are allowed to take full-paying clients. This ensures that we provide the highest quality service and care.

Why ReveLashons?

The name "ReveLashons" is inspired by my deep faith and love for God. It is a play on the word "Revelations," symbolizing a journey of discovery, transformation, and new beginnings. Just as the Book of Revelations in the Bible speaks of unveiling truths and divine guidance, ReveLashons represents the unveiling of beauty, confidence, and self-love through our services. My faith is the cornerstone of my life and my business, and it drives me to provide a sanctuary where clients can experience not just physical transformation, but also a sense of spiritual renewal and inner peace.
